Dr Tanaka was in Japan for the 57th Japan Society of Acupuncture and Moxibusion meeting, held at the Kyoto International Conference Center in Japan May 30- June 1, 2008. At the conference, Dr. Tanaka co-chaired the scientific session on the autonomic nervous system, where selected researchers and educators in the field presented their latest research. In the session, Dr. Tanaka presented his research entitled “Integration of Acupuncture and HRV Biofeedback Technique”.

According to the organizers of the meeting, the conference was a great success attracting over 3000 acupuncturists, researchers, and students in the field. Various topics related to acupuncture were discussed in the beautiful scenic surrounding in Takaragaike (“Pond of Treasure”), Kyoto.
