Did You Know?

January 15th, 2008 by Pacific Wellness

Why is our Toronto clinic called “Pacific” Wellness Institute?

Here at The Pacific Wellness Institute, the East meets West as a multidisciplinary practice. Dr. Tanaka originally brought his experience and education of Oriental medicine from across the Pacific and established The Pacific Wellness Institute in Toronto, Canada. Natural eastern therapies of acupuncture and shiatsu are the primary treatment modalities, and they are blended with western cutting-edge technologies and scientific research.

The word “pacific” in a literal sense means “to pacify” or “restore peace”. The definition is coherent with The Pacific Wellness Institute’s vision: To restore people’s health through peace of mind and body.
